Sartorial Thoughts

 

As I am obliged to attend a Golden Wedding celebration next month I found myself rummaging in the darker corners of my wardrobe for something suitably sartorial. Imagine my joy when I found my long-lost calico loon pants, with 30” waist and 23” flares, bought in 1972, via an ad in Melody Maker. And only 39/11d (for anyone youthful reading this, that’s just under £2). I reckon I could be the highlight of the evening. Trouble is, I can’t find anything that quite goes with the loon pants. Any ideas?
