Absolutely Tipp-Exical

When I had a poem published for the first time, in 1982, I thought it would be a good idea to keep a record of all my publications - using my typewriter. 31 years later I am still doing this and I still do my accounts - using my typewriter.

About a month ago I discovered my supply of Tipp-Ex correction paper (properly known as Tipp-Ex Typewriter Correction Paper) had run out. I then discovered that no stationer in Edinburgh sold the stuff. Apparently it is obsolete.  But I need it! It is the quickest and neatest way to correct typing errors.

Never mind, I thought, it's bound to be available online. Everything is. But no. The only way I could get the paper was by bidding for some out-of-date stuff on eBay. And I'm not that mad!

After much searching, I found one company - in Watford - which still stocks a similar product, called Ko-Rec, made in the USA. Trouble is, I've had to order much more than I need, so if there is anyone out there, still making mistakes in their typing, I can sell you a few sheets of very rare Ko-Rec. Very reasonably.

Meanwhile, feast your eyes on what is possibly the UK's last Quick-Box of Tipp-Ex typewriter correction papers (25mm x 60mm).
